LIBRARY PUPPET SHOW PROGRAMS
Summer Reading Programs and More!
Paul’s Puppetry Productions puppet shows match a library performance
with the Collaborative Summer Reading Program's yearly theme. Children will have an experiential experience while learning about the CSRP’s yearly theme. This year’s CSRP’s theme is Kindness, Friendship and Unity, and the slogan is “All Together Now.”
Whether you are looking for a spring break program, a holiday themed puppet show, or just a fun program idea, Paul’s Puppetry Productions has a puppet show
that your patrons will love, regardless of the time of year.
All of our shows are performed LIVE, with only recorded music and sound effects. This allows each puppet show to be 'personalized' and to allow time for audience reactions,

Puppet Theater Play!
Paul’s Puppetry Productions will transform campers/students into confident puppeteers and empower young learners to tell their own stories with simple materials.
In this customizable 60-minute class, students will build puppets, learn about theater and perform their own original stories. Students will also learn about the traditional performing arts of other cultures and master simple script writing.
Paul’s Puppetry Productions has a variety of simple yet effective curriculums that allows kids of all abilities to create and play. Paul’s Puppetry Productions curriculums can be adjusted to meet summer camps, after school programs, church programs and vacation bible schools’ schedules.

Puppet Workshop
Paul’s Puppetry Productions workshops utilize simple household materials to create puppets. From sock puppets to pop up puppets, each workshop is tailored for specific age and skill levels. The puppetry teaching artist will lead a 45-minute workshop where everyone creates and performs their own puppet.
Making Connections through Puppetry
In this single session or multi-day intensive training workshop, professionals working with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder are invited to learn about using puppetry within a professional setting. Teachers, therapists, counselors, mentors, doctors, nurses, and others working with neurodiverse children are welcome to attend. Puppetry can be used as an amazing tool for interaction, pretend play, communication, de-escalation, joint attention, self esteem boosting, experiencing success and more.
Led by ventriloquist, magician and puppeteer Mr. Paul, participants will learn the basics of performance and technique as well as discuss ways to utilize puppets to make connections with children diagnosed with autism and utilize them when working with children with ASD. Each participant will receive their own puppet to personalize and take home.

This can be done in-person or virtually. Contact Paul's Puppetry Productions for more information.
